About Me

she/her • dec. 29th • werewolf • retro freakHello there, you! I'm Reya, an American artist and just one of the many digital content makers out there. I'm a retro-obsessed creator who loves collecting and drawing OCs. Reya (on the right, who also shares my online namesake) is my truesona! She embodies the retro vibes that I love.
I've been drawing for twelve years and doing motivated hobbyist work for six. My digital journey started in 2020 when I got my first art tablet and dabbled in IbisPaint with only my finger as a stylus. Fun fact: I still don't have a stylus and use only my finger to draw! Cool, eh? When I'm not drawing, I'm usually found reading, writing, studying, our rummaging around in the woods someplace.
Some of my other hobbies and media interests include the postwar era, werewolves, floorplans and architecture, House MD, MARINA, Minecraft, Stardew Valley, rollerblading, and photography.

- I never revoke designs; they are your property and you paid for them (I do have rights to the original artwork, however)
ADOPTABLES- Adoptable payments must be made in full before you have rights to the character/design
- I only do holds if you are in the process of paying and want to hold the character as you compile the remaining amount to be paid
- I do not approve of when my adopts are 'flipped' meaning you buy the design to redesign it and sell it for more
- Overall, I do not impose many guidelines on how you may use a design; it is yours to use as you'd like. Despite this, designs must follow some of basic grounds of no use in hateful content or AI training.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What materials do you use to draw?
A: I'm pretty unsophisticated when it comes to art materials. Digitally, I use IbisPaint on my Apple iPad with no stylus, just my finger.
Q: Do you accept offers on your characters?
A: Usually, yeah! If you're asking this on my Toyhou.se, simply read to folder description the character is located in to see if it is up for offer.
Q: Do you do requests or art trades?
A: As for requests, no. If you are I very close friend I may do one, but otherwise the time it takes is too much to compensate for. I do take art requests, but I can be very picky on which ones I accept. You have a better chance if we have interacted before, you are a friend, and/or my art skill level is similar to yours.
Q: Are your commissions open?
A: My avaliability status is located in my commissions page. To save you from having to look right now, my commissions are currently: open.
Q: I don't have/use DA points. Can I pay another way?
A: At the moment, no, sorry. I do not accept art or characters in exchange for my commissions unless you are a very close friend and this offer is combined with DA points. I never accept "real" money for my commissions, either.
Q: How long do your commissions take?
A: Theres is not a set wait period for my commissions, but a general ballpark would be anywhere from 1 week to 8 weeks wait time. Larger projects may take 2-4 months, but it depends!
Q: What counts as a 'complex character'? Can you explain the fees?
A: The commission status of whether your character is complex or not will be determined by me. Complex characters usually include but are not limited to: unusual species, intricate horns or scales or clothes, many or complex markings, asymmetricality, wings, tattoos, etc. For headshots, busts, fullbodies, etc. the complexity fee is a flat rate (either your character counts as complex or not). For larger things like customs, refs, etc. your character's complexity is a percentage fee. Your character may reach the complexity threshold mark but be considered only 'mildly' complex and thus have a smaller fee.
Q: Can you draw like another artist/use their design as inspiration for a custom?
A: A hard NO. I never copy other artists' styles or designs for clients. If you want to commission me, please do it for the appeal or my own work, not another's. This is demeaning to other artists as well.
